FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '26 will take place in Naeba from July 24. The first lineup is announced, featuring The xx, Khruangbin, and Massive Attack.
The details of FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL '26 are starting to emerge. The festival will run for three days from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2026. As always, the venue will be the Naeba Ski Resort in Yuzawa-machi, Niigata Prefecture, and the official website has already published the first lineup and ticket details.
What immediately catches the eye in this announcement is the trio of headline acts leading the festival. At the top of the lineup page are The xx, Khruangbin, and Massive Attack, signaling that this year's Fuji Rock will place a heavy emphasis on alternative, psychedelic, and electronic sounds. In addition, the list features a rich mix of local and international talents, including ASIAN KUNG-FU GENERATION, Fujii Kaze, Susumu Hirasawa + EJIN, Hi-STANDARD, Mitski, Turnstile, Basement Jaxx, Mogwai, BadBadNotGood, never young beach, XG, and Tempalay.
This lineup shows that Fuji Rock's signature eclectic music taste remains alive and well. Instead of focusing on guitar-heavy rock alone, the festival co-exists with dance, jazz, alternative, pop, and experimental acts. Choosing not to stick to a single genre, but rather letting visitors experience the Naeba atmosphere through diverse sounds, remains a unique aspect of Fuji Rock compared to other major music festivals.
Advance tickets will be on sale from 12:00 on Friday, February 20 to 23:00 on Friday, May 15, 2026. A 3-day pass is priced at 57,000 yen during the advance sale (59,000 yen general admission), and a 1-day pass is 25,000 yen (26,000 yen general). Special tickets like Friday Night, Under 22, and Under 17 1-day passes are also available, along with bookings for campsite access and the "MOON CARAVAN" auto-camping area. Those planning to attend should check their accommodation and parking requirements early.
The lineup page also notes: "and MANY more artists to be announced." This means we are still in the early stages, and the upcoming additions will shape the final experience. While the first announcement is already strong, the wait for subsequent acts leaves plenty of excitement for Fuji Rock 2026.
